Bride and Groom

Psalm 119:15
"The voice of rejoicing and salvation
is in the tabernacles of the
righteous: the right hand of the LORD doeth valiantly."

Miyuki in Kyoto

Ephesians 5:1-3
Be ye therefore followers of God,
as dear children;
And walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us,
and hath given himself for us an offering
and a sacrifice to God for a sweet smelling
But fornication and all uncleanness,
or covetousness, let it not
be once named among you, as becometh saints."

Gserena and her Balloons

"Know ye not that the unrighteous
shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived:
neither fornicators, nor idolators,
nor adulterers, nor effeminate,
nor abusers of themselves with mankind,

Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards,
nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God.

And such were some of you:
but ye are washed,
but ye are sanctified,,
but ye are justified in the name
of the Lord Jesus,
and by the Spirit of our God."
1. Corinthians, Chapter 6: 9-11

Flowers of Vanity

Psalm 12: 1-2
"Help, Lord; for the godly man ceaseth;
for the faithful fail from among the children of men.
They speak vanity every one with his neighbour:
with flattering lips
and with a double heart do they speak."

thine eyes like the fishpools in Heshbon,
by the gate of Bathrabbim:

Inspired by Dior

Inspired by the Dior Exhibition at the NGV....
one of my favourites was a gown with lace over black....

the very first exhibit was lovely. to find a scripture...

"How beautiful are thy feet with shoes,
O prince's daughter!
The joints of thy thighs are like jewels,
the work of the hands of a cunning workman."

which run among the hills.
They give drink to every beast of the field:
the wild asses quench their thirst."

to be rich in faith and heirs of the kingdom
which He promised to those who love Him?"

Amalfi (no2)

I thought I would do another Amalfi for myself...
but I have ruined it with too much gouache....
that is my downfall when I overwork a picture.

A sobering scripture today;
"So shall it be at the end of the world:
the angels shall come forth,
and sever the wicked from among the just,
And shall cast them into the furnace of fire:
there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth."
Matthew 13: 49, 50.
